I am Not A Thief-Minister Mano Ganeshan

I do not know how many politicians in this country can say that I am not a thief. But, I am very proud when I think I can say that I am a good Political party leader, said Minister Mano Ganeshan.

Minister for National Co-operation and Parliamentary Languages, Mano Ganeshan delivered the above statement to the media while participating as Chief Guest in a Leadership Training workshop.

He further stated, a minister of Ruling Party is being called and investigated by the Inquiry of Presidential Commission which was formed by this government. The minister is being questioned by the officials of Attorney General. It shows the good governance of the present regime.

I have the hope that former Minister Ravi Karunanayake will grant his full cooperation with the investigative officers regarding the Bond Treasury Scam charges and will prove that the allegations imposed on him are false.

I do not know how many politicians are here can raise their hands saying that I am not a thief. And how many of the politicians can say that I am a politician who can speak, write and read the all three languages spoken in this country? I do not know how many politicians can say that a politician working for up to twenty hours a day. But, I am very proud when I can say that I am a good Political party leader with all qualities, said Minister Mano Ganeshan.
